Easter Weekend!

In the six years that I've lived in Rexburg, I've never visited Yellowstone National Park... until now! On Saturday, the four of us went to Yellowstone since it was free. We saw lots and lots of Buffalo. We were lucky to also see some wolves, but I didn't get that great of shots because they were too far away.

Sweet bench made out of skis.

Sunday was Easter! We celebrated with carrot cupcakes, egg dying, and an Easter dinner. Yum! We had apricot-glazed ham, green beans with bacon, and au gratin potatoes. It was delish.

Spring and a haircut

Since Spring is slowly coming, we decided to make a Spring mobile! Jared, Crystal, Tomás and I all made origami flowers, chicks, dragonflies, and other spring related things. Then, we strung it up into a mobile! I love making mobiles.

Since we're leaving winter, I decided to change up my hair too. I cut and dyed it for the summer! Woohoo! Jared's looking for a job, and Tomás just started his Spring semester of school. I'm still just working as usual. But, life's treating us well.

Emily & Jackson

I took some engagements this weekend for my good friends Emily and Jackson. Their wedding is a 50s Diner theme. It's going to be super cute. Here are a few!

Conference Weekend

General Conference weekend means treats and yummy breakfasts. On saturday, in between sessions I made some delicious chocolate cupcakes from scratch. Let's just say, I was craving a sweet treat.

Jared and his girlfriend Crystal came on Sunday to watch the morning session with us, and we made crepes! My favorite.

Since my graduation, I've been on new adventures with my sewing machine. I have a turquoise dress, which I love, that I need to alter. I also want to make a cloth bag for the summer.

With Jared moving in with us soon, I'm off to do some deep cleaning and re-organizing! Woooe.
